I watched a bit of the intro and the quality seems to be watchable. I'm gonna wait for the HD version. The first song she sang is Vogue Girl (Yay!) and the second song is Crazy. :Grin:

I'm franticly searching for, at least, a decent avi of this. The tp/ts and avi are up at other forums, but of course they're uploaded to hosts I can't download from -_- I'm going to avoid youtube for as long as I can (without going crazy).

I've seen more hateful comments about her voice than about the dancers. She cant sing, her voice is too high etc... Argh I hate them antis! Her voice is the reason (other than her concepts and quirkyness) why I love her so much and why I continue listening to her music. I've never seen so many of them ever since she debuted Crazy! :angry:

I've read huge arguements about stealing dancers from Hyori and Britney and then people asking why they're all American and not Korean. It's so pathetic. But yeah, I've read hateful comments about her voice too. She has a different voice to most people, it's unique. People just can't accept difference and want to continue liking the same old dribble. They can, just leave LJH alone!!

Seriously... Se7en has used American dancers too and I heard no complaints about that! And I'm positive other singers have done the same. Lee Jung Hyun is not the first and certainly not the last to use non-Korean dancers. Same with her voice, there's nothing wrong with it and it suits her songs perfectly (and I'm not just saying that because I'm an overly obsessed fan). At least she has proven she can actually SING live, unlike many of the other million singers out there.
It's not LJH's fault the dancers that showed up to the audition happened to be former dancers of Britney or what ever they were. She didn't even pick the dancers on her own (because she couldn't decide on which ones to pick), so the choreographer/director helped her with it.
Netizens can be truly horrible sometimes. I, personally, see no joy in doing what they're doing (with anti-clubs and overly hateful comments). I mean, why bother when you can just support the celebrities you like instead! Hopefully karma will catch up with them one day :tongue: -
I never had a problem with her voice before. It just seemed to match her techno sound. If I don't like a song, it's because the music didn't catch me or something. I can't imagine anyone else singing her songs with the tradional style of singing. It's not like her voice is the only non traditional voice in Asia. Like with Ayu, her voice can get to me at times esp early in her career. There are still songs from that first album that make me cringe. Nowadays, I avoid listening to her sing live, but you don't see me going online and saying that she sucks because her vocal skills are horrible. I just filter it out or avoid it altogether.
I never got the whole anti thing either. I understand if you don't like a singer or something, but to go as far as to enjoy talking the singer down is weird. It can't be healthy behavior either. But I guess these people are children or don't have jobs or bills to pay or else they would really have their priorites straight. I wouldn't let it bother you though. Like they say the internet make a person anonymous and when they are, they get to say things. Others do it just to get a rise out of you so I would ignore it. I don't even read comments on blogs and at youtube anymore. -
This is ther first time I ever seen so many negative comments on LJH so thats why it bothered me. But I guess I have to get used to it.
I have mixed feelings for Ayumi too. I think she has a great high voice but it can be annoying sometimes. I used to listen to her music but not anymore since her songs now sound almost the same (dont hate me if you read this.. it's just my opinion.. hehe). I have the same feelings toward BoA too. But you dont see me going around spreading hate about them! Hmph!
And you're totally right. I dont see anyone singinging her songs better than she can. Her songs are suited for her voice. Some of the remakes and covers are ok, but the originals are more enjoyable (of course!) -
I don't see the need in spreading hate either. I hate MANY artists but I don't go trolling their videos saying they're stupid. It's just so immature and attention seeking. Getting angry at them is just giving them want they want.
If Hyori, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, BoA or whatever popular act did the same thing people would be fine with it. It's just because LJH is the underdog. People won't admit she's good. I always thought she wasn't that popular but I found out she's actually more popular than I was led to believe (by my Korean friends).
I do think there are enough positive comments to make up for the negatives though -
She's still popular in Korea (but her popularity died down cuz she's a veteran) and in China (SUPER POPULAR! She has the same popularity as BoA in China) and Japan (when she debuted in Japan, she was really popular) No bad comments ever come from China or Japan. I mean LiveJH is like the biggest Chinese forum online right now.
She's not as popular as other kpop artists out right now because shes not the typical kpop artist. Hyori and BoA got that typical sexy appeal. LJH is more weird and freaky but sexy at the same time. -
BoA is popular in China?! I didn't know that. I heard she flopped when she tired to enter. BoA I love but she's slowing down a bit. She needs a long vacation just to perk up a bit. LJH just has personality and she's so confident. Who else would voluntarily sing into her pinky? She enjoys what she's doing. BoA just depresses me sometimes. It's been a while since I've seen her look like she's enjoying herself.

I laballed my video of that performance wrong >.< I thought it was in Japan. Argh! :tongue: But I admired her for continuing the performance and not stopping it to get a new pair of pants. The material must've been incredibly fragile!
