Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Passion is a 2004 album by K-Pop singer Lee Jung Hyun. In a change from her previous style, the music is Latin-influenced rather than purely techno.Lee assumes a unique persona for each album, such as a mermaid, Barbie doll, tribal queen, soldier, Korean folk dancer, belly dancer, or princess of the sea. She has garnered many nicknames over the years, including Techno Queen of Korea, Ms. Charisma, Little Giant, and Queen of Change.
So I'm wondering have anyone seen this? I'm also wondering why it is so highly priced if most of the stuff is from the wikipedia or other free sources online?
This is a really weird item I don't get it o_O
Pretty weird indeed...
Must be a thin book, if most of the content comes from Wikipedia...? So, this is a book about the Passion-album???
If there is 100 pages...must be a empty pages if content comes from wikipedia? :D
No idea if this is about the passion album... hope someone in here has more info about the actual content of this one.
EDIT: I've added some product info to the first post from betterworldbooks.com
So apparently they do this to many wikipedia pages
Nice find.... yeah there seems to be more of this kind of books.
A company variously calling itself Alphascript Publishing and Betascript Publishing is taking articles from Wikipedia and publishing them as books. It would appear that the act of doing that is legal, but from the outside, many of the books give the appearance of having been put together by some automated system, because the titles (and presumably contents) seem to be comprised of a Wikipedia page forming the starting point for the book and then a load of other Wikipedia pages which are linked-to from that page.
So the starting point for this book was this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passion_(Lee_Jung_Hyun_album) ? And it has content from the other links from that page? ...If so, now i understand how this book has 100 pages. This is absolutely weird item and probably better to leave in the store....
Apparently this company has about 150,000 published books - all made up of texts from wikipedia or other places were the original author isn't credited (that way they can't get sued for stealing other people's work). I'd never pay money for something like this.
