Heard this song at work today and thought the beginning sounded an awful lot like the chorus for Suspicious Man. It might just be me looking too much into this though. What do you think?

Omega El Fuerte is apparently from the Dominican Repulic and is a pretty popular merenuge-group/singer (whatever that is XD ). From what I can gather, this song in particular was released in 2009, and it's a cover. -
Well. I think it`s just a coincidence.Ava never copyed anyone in her music, not like Lee Hyo-lee.And K-POP`s influence is higher a lot than the pop culture in Dominican Repulic .

True, it's probably a coincidence. Omega is somewhat famous though... from what I've gathered. I had never heard of him/them before I accidentaly heard this song. Still, it's funny how similar they are.
However, K-pop has been known to sample (and make covers) of songs from countries "with less influence in the pop culture". SES's song Dreams Come True is a cover of a Finish song, for example. And that song Hyori made (the one that had a music video with a clown) was a copy of a Greek song from the 70's (or earlier). I'm not saying that's the case with Suspicious Man - it's just an observation I've made ^_^ -

Ava`s songs are always copyed by others.Espacially by Sammi (Cheng Sau Man).

I think I've heard most of Sammi Cheng's covers. Some of them are quite alright, but, of course, Ava's songs are much better.
