This artist is known as 'the queen of transformations,' or a 'performance wizard' as she undergoes transformations and shows a new side of herself in every new album. It's singer Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) and she's receiving a lot of love as one of the forerunners of the Korean wave. This time, she went through another shocking transformation for her new album.
Singer Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) is back with her 7th album and the title song 'Strange guy' after a year break. She still radiates sexiness and charisma on stage. Once her powerful broadcast performance finished, we asked Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) how she felt about coming back into the K-pop market.
The concept of this song's music video is about a woman who decides to revenge on her lover who betrays her. It could be a stale subject matter, but when Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) does it, she really jazzes it up. Her acting as a killer was very real, and she showed the essence of revenge in her distinct way.
Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) personally produced her 7th album titled 'Lee Jung Hyun 007th' and filled it up with her unique musical colors. She enjoys putting on fancy performances that leaves the viewers at a loss for words, and this time, she filled the album with her intense aura which radiates from her delicate physique.
She captivated the Korean music market 11 years ago as a techno female warrior and started the techno craze all over Korea. She is remembered as using a finger microphone and showing off the flamboyant fan dance for her 1st album's title track 'Wa.' She caused a sensation back then and since then, she underwent a shocking transformation for every new album released, and showed off performances which only Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) can pull off.
Lee Jung-hyun's (이정현) hard-working performance and songs caused a sensation not just in Korea but overseas as well. A lot of singers in Asian countries such as China, and Hong Kong, as well as in Europe have adapted her songs and performances.
Lee Jung-hyun (이정현) showed various images, starting from a techno female warrior, to a Egyptian goddess and even a Barbie doll. The shock she gave everyone at the time of her debut has eased up a bit, but nevertheless, she works hard and always tries out new things.

Why all the news out there saying that this album will have the first ballad or that she never does ballad songs. Her past albums got ballads too >< *confused*

OMG HER FOLLOW UP SONG IS EENIE MEENIE MINY MOE!! Since her mv shoot was canceled this week, i hope the follow up song wont be entirely canceled.

yeah she's done plenty ballads. but they all remained hidden on the album and aren't as well known. the IRIS song had publicity, and since she is known for dance music everyone was surprised.
Crazy her most memorable? You mean avaholic crazy? thats a very strange choice. to most people their debut or most successful songs would be most memorable. she must really like it.

She said the dancers and choreographer was very professional and was amazing to work with. She hope one day she can have the best Korean dancers and American dancers come together to have a powerful stage performance.

I want to see it to. Its probably why she didnt sing this song during her special stages. Maybe she can promote AVAtar too? hehe
